Donlar was hired as CM@r to construct the new 26,852 sf, two-story, multi-unit residential hall on St. Benedict’s Monastery campus in St. Joseph. After the existing structure was demolished, construction began on the new hall. ICF forms were utilized for the foundation of the wood framed structure. Facility amenities include: basement exercise room, whirl pool/sauna, activity room, and storage. Both upper floors contain living quarters, of suites with kitchenettes/ dining rooms and between 3, 4 or 5 rooms, depending on the room configuration. Work included a tunnel that connected to the existing campus tunnel system.
