MEDICAL
Healthcare facilities require highly specialized construction knowledge and practices. When building in an existing, fully operational medical facility, with 24/7 critical care taking place, construction needs to be precise and with minimal impact. This construction activity requires state-of-the-art materials and techniques with strict controls for air quality and disturbances. Close coordination with hospital staff and decision makers is key. Having worked in many medical facilities Donlar's team has the sensitivity, as well as the savvy, to use a delicate hand where required for a traditionally loud and disruptive activity.

Facing the challenges of an aging facility, Prairie Ridge Hospital of Elbow Lake decided to build a new hospital that would be both efficient and cost effective to “serve the healthcare of the people”.

The remodel at the Trauma Center increased the size and efficiency of the facility. Intensive planning and clear communication was key to keep construction progressing while allowing the hospital to remain fully operational.

As CM at Risk, Donlar performed additions and remodelings to multiple departments within CentraCare Health Plaza, as well as including site work around the facility.

Donlar built this single level, 13,000 sf CentraCare satellite clinic serves the medical needs of the St. Joseph community. The facility contains a pharmacy and supports the work of 3 physicians.
