The building and spaces used by federal, state, and regional governments are as varied as the agencies themselves. Our portfolio includes diverse projects from the governor’s residence, vehicle maintenance facilities, courtrooms, police training facilities, army helicopter hangars, emergency vehicle training courses and community centers. We manage a wide a variety of projects while working within the regulatory, funding, and documentation requirements of each agency.
The New Hope recreational facility included 3 new pools. An outdoor 50 meter lap pool, a current channel pool, and a recreational pool with water slides. Two separate buildings were built to house bath/showers and one the other for the pools’ mechanical equipment.
A new, first class, four-season ski chalet and event center in Biwabik, servicing skiers and golfers, as well as wedding receptions and other banquets for year-round events and celebrations.
The River’s Edge Parking Facility, built in downtown St. Cloud adjacent to the River’s Edge Convention Center.
Built with the combined resources of county and state to accommodate both entities in their transportation duties serving the Litchfield area, the new facility contains offices, storage and maintenance areas.
The Tribal College building includes administrative and faculty offices, classrooms, library and head start program. The Government Center building consolidates multiple Red Lake government agencies and elected tribal officials under one roof and features a new Veteran’s Memorial Plaza.
The new government center for the City of Maple Grove includes a police station and holding facilities, city offices, council chambers, and other support spaces.
After the initial project designs came in over budget, Donlar’s team worked with the owner and architect to provide value engineering cost savings in excess of $942,000.
The EVOC project consisted of 270,000 sf bituminous and post-tensioned concrete skid pan, 4.25 miles of bituminous and concrete roadway, and high mast cobra-head roadway lighting.
